What you will gain
Our Summer Internship Program, beginning in June 2026, provides immersive training and introduction to Santander. You will be combining this training with practical experience on both technical and interpersonal skills, helping your development during the internship.
The 2026 Santander Summer Internship Program is for undergraduate students and/or graduate level students who have an expected graduation date between December 2026 and May/June 2027.
Santander US is a nationwide business with locations across the country. This position is located in Boston, MA.
• The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
Salary: $62,400/year

As a Salesforce & Data Engineering Intern, you will come out of this experience with an understanding of how to support the technology needs of an investment firm. You will gain direct knowledge of Salesforce development, database management, and reporting and analytics and the experience will include exposure to the innerworkings of an investment firm seeking to expand its wealth business across multiple channels. You’ll learn how to collaborate with a small team of developers and benefit from their collective 50+ years of experience in the industry.
Responsibilities of the Salesforce & Data Engineering Intern role may include but are not limited to:
• Assisting with Openbank and the integration of Investment products & features within the experience.
• Assisting with database migrations. This includes connecting to external vendors, architecture and integrations.
• Helping to enhance our Salesforce platform and further develop the experience for the financial advisors on the platform.
• Contribute to the rebuild and design of workflows in platforms.
What we are looking for
• An undergraduate student with an expected graduation date between either December 2026 or May/June 2027.
• Area of Study: Computer Science, Information Science, Business, Mathematics
• Cumulative GPA is 3.0 or above.
• Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and courage.
• Strong English communication skills both written and spoken required.
