The Ads & Promotions team's mission is to make DoorDash the best place for businesses to market their brand to local customers. As one of the newest and fastest growing teams within DoorDash, we work within a complex ecosystem, balancing the needs of merchants, advertisers, and consumers. We’re realizing DoorDash’s mission of empowering local businesses everywhere by helping them reach customers. In parallel, we enable consumers to find more of what they love and make shopping more affordable for everyone.

About the Role

As a Senior Product Designer on the Ads & Promos design team, you’ll help create the most seamless and intuitive marketing experience for the merchants on DoorDash.

You’ll work with a tight-knit cross-functional team to envision how we enable merchants to find the right tools for their needs through intelligent recommendations, no matter what stage their business is in. You’ll also drive the strategy on how we demonstrate the value of marketing on DoorDash, and make activating various marketing solutions a breeze. You’ll define the future of an advertising platform that connects local businesses to 30+ million Consumers on DoorDash.

This role can be based in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York City and will report into the Design Manager for Ads & Promotions. This is a hybrid role, with some time in-office and some time remote.

• Lead the user experience of products end-to-end, including contributing to product strategy, running design sprints, and crafting visions
• Work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and other disciplines to build and ship your designs
• Deliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities
• Create, collaborate, and refine flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals
• Design and ship high-quality product improvements

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.  Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New
