Job Description

• Ensure and/or perform daily/weekly/monthly compliance inspections as required by Permit.
• Develop, update procedures in conformance with State and Federal regulations and company policies.
• Keep an active file of all facility operational permits and work with Facility Manager & Manager Permitting Compliance on permit updating and renewal as necessary.
• Audit Clean Earth of North Jersey units to ensure compliance with permit.
• Work with Manager Permitting Compliance & Facility Manager to seek appropriate permits for site expansions.
• Prepare and submit required environmental reports.
• Assist Operations with on-site Traffic Control plans and policies.
• Assist Operations with Permit Compliance and corrective actions when needed.
• Performs related work and additional duties as requested or assigned by supervisor/manager.
• Principal liaison between CENJ and governing Regulatory Agencies.

Pay Range: $24.00-$29.00/ hour

Qualifications

Basic Required Qualifications:

• BS in Sciences, Engineering, Chemistry or Equivalent.
• 24 HR Hazwoper
• 8 HR annual Hazwoper refresher

Preferred Qualifications:

• College degree in Environmental studies or related field.
• Computer literate, can work with spreadsheets, maintain and creating files.
• Knowledge of facility permitting, DOT packaging requirements and OSHA Regulations.
