Class A Driver

Description

Safely deliver product to customers in a timely manner.  Hartung customers include job sites, glass houses, plumbing wholesalers, Home Depot and Lowes stores, both in-state and out-of-state.

Requirements

• Maintain a valid driver’s license (Class A )
• Maintain an acceptable MVR and current DOT Medical card
• Meet scheduling requirements as outlined by Shipping Manager
• Pre & post trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain vehicle mileage log (electronic and paper)
• Complete paperwork correctly (shippers/return slips)
• Check and secure loads
• Operate a boom type crane as needed
• Accurately track delivery and pick-up of A-racks and slot racks
• Log in patterns and returned items
• Loads truck as needed
• Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery
• Able to pass DOT regulated drug/alcohol screen
• Adhere to all DOT guidelines
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to provide stellar customer service and resolve issues as need
• Great attendance and work ethic
• Other duties as assigned

$25-$30 Depending on experience
