Cardiac Sonographer (part-time)

Job Description:

The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for producing diagnostic images using sonography equipment. Sonographers are equipped with the technical skills to handle the imaging equipment and interpersonal skills necessary for providing high-quality patient care.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Associate Degree in Cardiac Sonography required. Bachelors Degree is preferred. 

Experience: Vascular experience preferred (will train).

Certifications/Licenses:

• Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Sonographer (RDCS) or registry eligible (RDCS to be obtained within first year of employment) required.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association (AHA) with a recommended renewal date required.
