Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

 

Are you passionate about driving data-related topics and transforming business processes?

Scania is on an exciting journey to implement a new System Landscape based on SAP, and we are looking for a dedicated Data Management Specialist to lead our Master Data initiatives for Sourcing & Procurement.

 

Responsibilities

As a Data Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our Business Transformation, ensuring that our Purchasing department reaches new heights.

You will be responsible for planning activities and coordinating a cross-functional team of solution architects, bridging the gap between business and IT functions.

  • Lead master data initiatives within the purchasing domain.
  • Ensure vendor data migrated into SAP is cleansed and validated for optimal data quality.
  • Identify data owners, define business rules, and address data migration issues.
  • Drive the implementation of data governance rules and maintenance processes within the purchasing domain.
  • Develop and maintain data quality control procedures.
  • Audit data regularly to ensure data integrity.
  • Provide training and guidance to business users on master data management.
  • Develop process improvements for data management activities.

You

To be successful, you need experience and have advanced knowledge in SAP S4 HANA (transactions, data model, business processes), preferably business partner & FI objects.

  • Strong understanding of business processes and requirements from process streams and data management domains.
  • Comprehensive understanding of data flow from an end-to-end business perspective.
  • Experience in data quality management and master data management (especially data architecture & data governance).
  • Experience working in both Business & IT functions.
  • Strong business sense with an understanding of supplier and material data usage across the supply chain.
  • Strong analytical skills and logical thinking.
