SALARY RANGE

$33,760.00 - $37,136.00 Annually      $1,298.46 - $1,428.31 Biweekly

The hiring salary may exceed the maximum posted salary.

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 This position serves as Quality Management monitoring during meal service for resident meal trays before leaving the Food Service Department:

Check to ensure the accuracy of the diet cards utilized in the tray line operation which includes printing, sorting, cutting, and bundling in sequential order.

 

Assist staff with the monitoring of the meal service process in order to provide accurate nutritional care as specified by the menu and diet prescriptions. Make any prescribed changes to the meals due to temporary diet modifications, transfers, hospitalizations of a resident. Ensure the appropriate records are corrected to reflect these changes.

 

Assist in the production, distribution and sanitation of the meals and trays served to the residents as mandated by the Food Service Department policies and procedures. Monitor, check and approve the tray line set up and services. Check and ensure the accuracy of the tray’s content and texture of the food prior to delivery.

 

Responsible for providing quality assurance evaluation of final food products delivered to the homes for resident consumption. Ensure the work area, equipment and utensils are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.

 

This position is responsible for processing and maintaining the diet cards in an accurate up-to-date manner. 

This position requires independent judgement in comprehending verbal or written diet orders which are communicated from various sources.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to lift, carry, bend, crouch, reach overhead, stand, walk on a consistent basis
• Must be able to do manual dexterity (i.e., use fingers, hands, and arms)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be willing to perform essential services before, during, and after an emergency.
• Must be willing to work beyond the normal work schedule to maintain minimum coverage levels and meet the needs of the Agency.
