Additionally, they conduct security research based on assignments from senior colleagues, create and fine-tune rules and exclusions, and document the tuning outputs.

Job description

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES • Perform analyses and solve tasks within security monitoring and incident response according to defined procedures. Create manuals under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. Address requests/tickets from customers and communicate with them according to defined procedures. • Conduct security research based on the assignment of a more experienced colleague. Create and fine-tune rules and exclusions under the supervision of a more experienced colleague and document the tuning outputs. • Be familiar with existing ESET XDR products and internally used systems. Resolve and respond to tickets related to XDR products. Report bugs and suggest improvements within the products. • Conduct threat hunt activities according to defined hypotheses and procedures, recording the output. Create threat hunting hypotheses under the supervision of a more experienced colleague. • Share knowledge and experience with colleagues within your own team. • Prepare reports according to the instructions of a superior employee, in collaboration with senior colleagues. • Perform PR activities in the field of security according to the assignments of a superior employee (e.g., lectures at universities, conferences, etc.). • Provide support and training to colleagues from other branches (L1/L2 teams) according to the assignments of a superior employee. • Continuously develop professional knowledge and skills and stay updated on the latest trends and technologies. • Carry out other work according to the instructions of a managing employee in accordance with the activity of the department and the company.
