Technical Analyst

Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a Technical Analyst to support the SHIELD Facilities Management Office. This position will provide strategic planning analysis, programmatic support, and process development.

What you’ll be doing:

• Oversee and facilitate security processes related to access control, visitor management, and event coordination.
• Maintain visitor logs, verify credentials, and coordinate with security personnel to ensure smooth access for authorized personnel.
• Process and facilitate VARs, ensuring proper security clearances and approvals are in place for all visitors.
• Utilize the Defense Information Security System (DISS) to manage personnel security information, track security clearance statuses, and ensure compliance with government security standards.
• Ensure all access control and visitor management processes comply with DoD and organizational security policies.
• Address any security issues or discrepancies promptly and coordinate with internal security teams to resolve any concerns.

What you’ll need:

• Ability to obtain and hold a DoD Secret clearance
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise between internal security teams and external organizations.
• Ability to quickly address and resolve security-related issues, with a focus on ensuring smooth operations and maintaining security integrity.
• Experience coordinating events or managing attendance logistics.
• Ability to lift 25lbs unassisted.
