About the role

Seeking a Project Manager with commercial mechanical construction experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Carmel, IN.

This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k.

Salary is between $100,000 - $120,000 per year (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Superintendents and Foremen to plan, organize, and oversee all phases of construction activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and schedules.

  • Define project objectives, establish policies, procedures, and performance standards in accordance with company guidelines and contract requirements. Facilitate clear communication with field leadership regarding work methods, challenges, and resolutions.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to streamline project coordination and execution.

  • Oversee on-site operations through effective leadership of Foremen, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

  • Proactively identify and address critical issues, implementing corrective actions to minimize disruptions and maintain project momentum.

  • Represent the company in client meetings, project reviews, and strategic planning sessions to align project execution with customer expectations.

  • Manage the financial aspects of contracts, including cost tracking and billing, to safeguard company interests while fostering positive client relationships.

  • Coordinate procurement of necessary materials and supplies to support project timelines and resource requirements.

  • Interpret project plans, specifications, and contract terms for staff, field crews, and clients to ensure clarity and compliance.

  • Prepare and present detailed reports on project progress, budget status, and schedule adherence.

  • Collaborate with Superintendents to allocate workforce resources effectively, assigning crews to project sites based on operational needs.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of commercial mechanical construction experience
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • Ability to read plans and specifications
  • Valid driver's license
