The Sales Director is responsible for sales leadership of the team that sells the Infor CPQ (Configure/Price/Quote) solutions. This position includes building, leading, coaching and mentoring a team of direct Account Managers to achieve their sales quotas. The Sales Director will work with the sales team to evaluate opportunities and execute intelligent pursuit plans.
A Day in the Life Typically Includes:- Articulate the Infor CPQ solution suite value proposition and successfully communicate the competitive advantages, resources and processes to client and prospects.
- Responsible for the team being equipped with the right skills, coordinating all necessary enablement and related education to run sales cycles to completion.
- Drive alignment of team members and execute talent management programs throughout the year.
- Responsible for the effectiveness of people processes, ensuring people initiatives are completed and monitored (Roles, Responsibilities & Expectations (RREs), compensation reviews, talent reviews etc.).
- Understand and execute the Principal Based Management journey for all employees by championing our guiding principles to transform our culture, proactively tracking, monitoring, and managing all agreed KPIs.
- Own the implementation and execution of all operational plans that impact team.
- Meet and achieve all quota goals.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience building, managing and coaching enteprise software sales teams to quota achievement.
- Experience selling SaaS ERP or Manufacturing business solutions.
- Experience building and communicating competitive advantages, value, resources and processes to client and prospects.
- Experience working with sales teams and prospective clients to understand their business objectives and create appropriate solutions and value to meet their business needs.
- Experience developing value propositions based on ROI cost/benefit analysis.
- Experience with customer account strategies and tactical penetration plans. Establish, document, and maintain solid communication and follow-up procedures for all assigned accounts.
- Experience negotiating pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.
