Groundskeeper I- Government

• This is a Temporary position that will end on October 29, 2026. 
•  Full- Time | Monday - Friday 
• Job Purpose or Objective(s): You will maintain the appearance of the grounds of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma properties. You will report to the Landscaping Supervisor
• Primary Tasks:
• You will operate different types of lawn equipment such as: lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, edgers, blowers.
• Pick up trash and other routine tasks to maintain the grounds.
• Care for established lawns and landscaping by mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, weeding, and planting.
• You will use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, and hedge trimmers.
• Tree, hedge, and shrub care that includes using shears, pruners, or chainsaws.
• Occasional manual removal of snow and ice from walkways, drives.
• Keep work areas clear of clutter and debris.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
• Requirements:
• Valid Driver's License
• Read and follow written or oral directions for tasks
• Understand government public health regulations
• Understand safety standards related to performance of the job
