As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel's overnight shift

Welcome the weary traveler, the late-night check-in's and assist the early departures.

Provide local knowledge and recommendations, and a friendly face for those unable to sleep.

Offer them that first cup of coffee to help them get started on their day.


Night Audit Responsibilities Include:


  • Welcome and greet all guests and visitors in a friendly professional manner
  • Operate the front desk and be familiar with all its functions
  • Answer the phone in a friendly, professional, and helpful manner and direct calls
  • Assist with guest check-in and check-out 
  • Process reservations and cancellations
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Close out the front desk functions and reporting for the day
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions 
  • Balance and reconcile daily financial transactions
  • Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
  • Assist with general hotel operations as needed
  • Ensure the security and safety of the hotel and its guests during the night shift

Requirements

Night Audit Requirements Include:


Must be able to be alert and friendly during entire shift

Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Excellent communication and customer service skills 

Proficient in cash handling and basic accounting 

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks 

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 

Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays

Must be reliable and flexible to work overnight shifts
