YOUR MISSION
As the Producer, you have a hybrid role of leading overall production of some of our Sports & Events multimedia projects. This specific role will have a focus on acting as the business lead of Wistar Productions on behalf of the board (Cipriani & Moment Factory). As a Producer, you define and establish custom MF  project’s overall production strategy and  support the creative process in collaboration with the Creative Director. Planning, organizing and supervising are part of your day-to-day tasks as you are closely involved in every step, from conception to final operation. You represent the project and manage relationships with the client, while ensuring efficient communication between the latter and the production team. You manage risks and advise teams by giving clear recommendations. You work with the client and ensure the total quality of the project’s production delivery. As the business lead of Wistar Productions, you establish yearly financial targets, manage day to day: the venue team, implement operational improvements to boost profitability, and define commercial strategies to drive revenue. You also maintain regular communication with the board and collaborate with partner properties to explore new opportunities.
YOUR TEAM
The Sports & Events team is mostly based in New York as an extension of our Montreal headquarters. They oversee a diverse array of projects including our permanent multimedia installation located at 25 Broadway, a short walk from the office where we operate this programmable space with our partner Cipriani through a joint venture established in 2017.
They leverage our multimedia toolbox and tacit creative know-how to provide permanent & temporary user experience solutions to enhance fan engagement & experience. Our diverse team blends storytelling, immersion, interactivity, and live performance to create original and unexpected experiences that connect audiences around the globe. 

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES

  • 1. Business lead of Wistar Productions:
  • Manage daily venue operations;
  • Manage finance and cashflow, and report financial data monthly;
  • Oversee events budgets, profitability, and multimedia sales targets;
  • Improve operational processes for greater efficiency;
  • Optimize workflows and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality;
  • Oversee all planning elements from technical, training, maintenance, commercial etc;
  • Ensure team cohesion and efficiency to meet goals;
  • Track performance using KPIs and data tools;
  • Regularly evaluate team and individual performance;
  • Handle HR issues and recruitment when needed;
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners, employees, and clients;
  • Act as the main contact for technical vendors and client-related issues only;
  • Develop and propose yearly strategic plan and goals to the board;
  • Represent Moment Factory in business development meetings and other opportunities.

  • 2. Producer Responsibilities (Project-Based):
  • Define, guide and establish the project’s overall strategy (planning, organizing and supervising), in collaboration with the Creative Director;
  • Responsible for service proposals, contracts, budget breakdowns, schedules, creative processes and objectives in collaboration with the Creative Director;
  • Participate in client briefs; prepare the client project’s contractual and administrative documents, in collaboration with all internal participants and the legal team;
  • Validate potential projects’ feasibility and profitability based on client needs and technical information;
  • Identify and analyze available resources (in-house teams, expertise, suppliers, etc.) for the realization of the project;
  • Participate, develop and maintain the overall business strategy development; identify and analyze the project’s potential risks to minimize and control them while aligned with the unit’s vision and objectives;
