The Lockheed Artificial Intelligence Center (LAIC) is looking for engineers who possess passion for conceptualizing, building, testing and maturing and autonomous . This position provides the opportunity to apply technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques in the field to develop tangible, differentiated and meaningful solutions aimed at significantly enhancing the sustainment of complex and enabling future capabilities in Computer Vision and Autonomy.

The selected candidate will be part of a range of efforts including short-term sprints (rapid prototyping) and long-term engagements (integration, maturation of prototypes). The team is focused on supporting major projects using a small, innovative core team, leveraging AI to create and sustain state-of-the-art technologies across several Lines of Business.

As an intern, you will get experience with the complete development lifecycle, from conception, through design and implementation, to integration and test. The candidate can be expected to be exposed to various forms of Artificial Intelligence, with opportunities for personal development and experimentation in this area. The candidate must exhibit self-motivation, a strong work ethic, time management and interpersonal skills.

Must be a US Citizen.

The team's preference is for a candidate who will be based in Moorestown, NJ, but the candidate can potentially work at any major Lockheed Martin facility, or remotely.

Basic Qualifications

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience running analysis on experimental results using Matlab or Python
- Introductory course work or experience with AI/ML concepts and frameworks
-Must be a US Citizen
