OCI Network Capacity and Planning organization is looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive our cross-organizational Network Acquistion and Delivery programs. This TPM will be responsible for the delivery of network connectivity for Oracle’s rapidly expanding cloud data centers. This TPM will operate independently across our organization, partnering with other TPMs and leaders within Networking, Data Center, Region Build, Engineering and Operations. They will be accountable to ideate for and deliver on our critical network infrastructure deliveries, projects focused on process improvements and contribute to vendor business reviews. They will also be responsible for adhering to and exceeding internal interval measurement mechanisms and helping the team to improve efficiencies in the delivery process. 

 As a seasoned TPM you will always “put the customer first” and have the mentality of “act now and iterate” while building innovative cloud native products.  You will demonstrate strong communication skills to coordinate the across teams that are either operating in silos or don’t have mature processes. Lastly, you will be expected to help mature our existing processes partnering with engineering teams and product teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage large-scale circuit delivery projects, define milestones and success criteria, allocate time resourcefully, and deliver network capacity on-time
  • Own processes and timelines, partnering with engineering, region build and data-centre teams
  • Influence technical decisions in working with large, cross-functional teams
  • Lead efforts to communicate schedules, priorities, and status to all levels in the company
  • Identify and remove blockers for the Network Acquisition and Delivery team

Required Qualifications: 

  • Experience working with circuit delivery of various types such as lit waves, dark fiber, backbone, IP transit etc.
  • Strong fiberoptic infrastructure troubleshooting skills
  • Substantial background in large-scale networks
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range: from $74,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
