1:1 Instructional Assistant for Special Needs Bus, Avilla Elementary

East Noble School Corporation is accepting applications for: 1:1 Instructional Assistant for Special Needs Bus, Avilla Elementary 

Special Education Bus Para / Student Dependent Position

Before and After School, per day, Monday � Friday when school is in session

$16.69 per hour, starting wage.

Position will begin in early August 2026.

This position is offered medical, dental, vision insurance and Indiana Public Retirement Fund 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Attends all required training sessions and applies training within the transportation setting

Other duties as assigned by building administrator

Monitors student one-on-one; follows medical care plan

Assists with student documentation

Monitors and Supervises students and assists driver as needed

Communicates effectively and regularly with students and staff

Participates in team planning sessions

Professionalism:

Maintains confidentiality of all student information

Follows East Noble policies and procedures

Works cooperatively with teacher(s) and other staff

Maintains professional demeanor

Candidate must have one of the following:

Minimum of 60 college credits

Associate's degree

Paraprofessional  certification

Or be willing to take and pass Paraprofessional certification test 

Additional notes:

**Medical Background Preferred but not necessary
