Job Overview:
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will engage with various development and support teams to ensure the delivery of stable, high-quality solutions. We are seeking a professional who is enthusiastic about maintaining and enhancing robust data systems, ensuring reliability, and delivering an exceptional customer experience and who enjoys working with SQL technologies and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS) through self-study and company-provided training. Responsibilities:
Understand and interpret business requirements to support data operations
Maintain and optimize complex T-SQL queries for performance and reliability
Support report development using SSRS, OBIEE, or Tableau
Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica or SSIS
Create and manage ad-hoc queries, stored procedures, and SQL Agent Jobs
Perform performance tuning and query optimization using native SQL Server tools
Monitor and support data platform operations, on Prem and on AWS, ensuring system health and uptime
Leverage AWS-native tools (e.g., CloudWatch, S3, RDS, Lambda) to ensure platform stability and performance

Requirements:
3+ years of experience in Information Technology
3+ years of experience in Data Warehouse Applications using SQL Server and Oracle
Experience supporting data platforms in AWS environments is highly desirable
Core Competencies:

Strong interpersonal skills to resolve issues professionally and build consensus
Ability to multitask, adapt to evolving priorities, and learn quickly
Execute tasks within established guidelines and procedures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational reliability
Preferences:
Experience with ETL tools, Informatica (including IDMC), and data modeling is a plus
Familiarity with SSIS, SSMS, and SSRS
Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and CloudWatch is a plus
