Full-Time/Day Shift

The Infection Prevention Supervisor is considered an Infection Prevention expert. The Infection Prevention Supervisor is the direct supervisor for infection preventionists and responsible for the day-to-day operations of the assigned infection prevention program.

The Infection Prevention Supervisor is accountable for implementation of and compliance with policies, practices, and processes of the infection prevention program at the facility, region, division and system level. In collaboration with the IP leadership, IP medical director, and IP peers, all IPs will follow all current local, state, and federal guidelines, standards, and regulations.

The Infection Prevention Supervisor is responsible for overseeing infection prevention consultative services focused on providing the higest quality care at the lowest cost to patient and organization.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Lab Sciences, Microbiology, Nursing, Public Health, Related health sciences field or equivalent educ/experience
• Upon hire: Certification Infection Control
• 2 years Infection Prevention or Epidemiology
• 4 years Quality and patient safety or other directly related healthcare experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Lab Sciences, Microbiology, Nursing, Public Health, Related health sciences field or equivalent educ/experience
• 2 years Leadership

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
