Manufacturing Document Control/Business Resiliency/Crisis Management: Management and problem solver opportunity for a candidate that possesses excellent communication and organizational skills. This team leader and system manager holds a broad range of responsibilities including records management, command media development and control, technical writing, and disaster preparedness. This Sr. Supervisor’s team includes a blend of employees and contractors who support multiple functions, including Manufacturing Operations, Mission Assurance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and more.
Responsibilities:
Command Media Manager: Manages the process for developing, publishing, and maintaining command/directive-type media and documentation.
Records Manager/Administrator. Manages the records administration responsibilities for site manufacturing operations department. This includes oversight of electronic records retention and coordinating the flow of records between the site(s) and the offsite storage services provider, assuring that staff fulfills records requests for department-held records, coordinating records retention and disposition, and other records related activity.
Emergency Preparedness Planning: Working with all levels, including executive management, of site and business-unit personnel in managing emergency preparedness and planning activity.
Manages and assures the operational readiness of department-maintained, operation-dependent special purpose software and hardware systems.
Technical Writing Manager: Serves as manager of and assists the department’s senior technical writer in updating, maintaining, and assuring availability of manufacturing production and test documentation.
Serves as point of contact manager to in-house media and signage production Graphic Designer and scanning operator contractors.
Provide and manage departmental staff in their delivery of supplemental backup support to other departments’ personnel in records administration, records scanning, emergency preparedness, site command media coordination, and other ad hoc areas.
Contribute to special projects and report metrics of above activity, plus any additional role-related activities.
Manage operational improvement projects.

Required Skills and Experience
Must have a minimum of 5+ professional years of experience records management, command media development and control, technical writing, and disaster preparedness.
Records management. This includes records classification, retention, maintenance, access control, disposition, search, and retrieval, document and records imaging, and records storage vendor relationship coordination.Disaster Preparedness Program Management. This includes the areas of incident response, support, recovery, preparedness, exercise, and continuity planning, after action review coordination, business impact analysis, and threat and vulnerability assessment,
Command Media Management. This includes development, publication, and maintenance of organizational-level command media and other directive-type documentation. For example, command media includes policies, procedures, guidelines, instructions, forms, and other directive-type documentation.
Manufacturing production and test documentation management. This includes development, publishing, and maintenance of such documents as Assembly Instructions (AIs), Packing Instructions (PIs), Factory Notice (FNs), Test Procedures (TPs), presentations, etc.
Experience in leading projects and or managing personnel.
