Job Description
Based on the requirements of our Government contracts, you must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this job. You also must have, or be able to obtain with assistance, a secret security clearance. This position is on-site and is not a remote opportunity.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
- Agile software development in small, fast-paced groups
- Development duties may include architecture design, requirements analysis, design, coding, peer reviews, unit testing, integration, system testing, performance tuning, automated test design, staged deployment, field testing, dev-ops, maintenance. You know – all of it.
Qualifications
Essential job skills include:
- Proficiency in C#, T-SQL, and Web application development
- Experience with Git or other source control system
- Experience with/ exposure to unit testing, continuous integration, automated build tools
- Proficiency with common programming IDEs and tools, ex: Visual Studio, VS Code, SSMS, etc.
- Excellent communication, team interaction, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a missile defense environment and/or the ability to learn a complex problem space
- Self-driven and self-governing with experience on small teams with agile software development processes
- Experience and skill with decomposing requirements into concrete, actionable tasks
- Familiarity with software change request systems and the use of formal configuration management tools
Desired skills:
- .NET Core, ASP.NET, Web API, and/or Python experience
- Experience with potentially very large datasets
- Experience with distributed software systems, service oriented software architecture, and complex software architectures.
- Exposure to the following frameworks, tools, languages, concepts, or libraries:
- XUnit
- Dependency Injection
- ASP.NET/Web API
- React
- TypeScript
General Requirements:
- 3-10 years of related experience
- Must have an active security clearance
- US Citizenship required
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
