About the role

The J.P. Morgan Wealth Management (USWM) business is focused on helping investors achieve their long-term financial goals and is comprised of the Chase wealth management business, J.P. Morgan Advisors, Personal Advisors and Self-Directed - our digital investing platform. The combined business has ~$600 billion in Assets Under Management and ~5,000 advisors located across 3,500 branches and 20 offices. 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our Advisor Growth Program (AGP). This specialized program focuses on advisor development, compensation, and performance to incentivize growth and productivity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of the Advisor Growth Program, including managing a ten-person team, monitoring and sharing trends with field leadership, communicating with stakeholders across compensation, incentive administration, finance and HR, and delivering content both in-person and virtually. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Identify training needs and gaps specific to advisor growth within the organization and create strategies to address them
  • Design and deliver tailored training materials, workshops, and sessions to enhance advisor skills and knowledge in areas such as client acquisition, financial planning, and relationship management
  • Implement a compensation structure within Advisor Growth Program to incentivize advisor growth and productivity
  • Manage a team of ten individuals responsible for executing various aspects of the Advisor Growth Program
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the Advisor Growth Program through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics
  • Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to ensure the development program meets the unique needs of our advisors
  • Establish strong controls and operations to identify risks and efficiencies
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices in advisor training, development, and compensation

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Series 7 and Series 66 required
  • At least 10 years business and sales experience in wealth management
  • Proven leadership/coaching experience and ability to effectively partner with others
  • Expertise in Financial Planning and delivering a goals-based approach to investing
  • Deep investment, product and capital markets knowledge
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts simply
  • Experience with practice management related coaching, including client contact strategies, book segmentation, implementing strong business processes, and financial planning
  • Strong presentation skills to individuals and large groups
