The Opportunity:

As a facilities manager, you understand that relationship-building and keen attention to detail are crucial when overseeing the life cycle of a project. As an experienced facilities professional at Booz Allen, you can use your client engagement skills to impact projects that will support National Security. We need someone like you who is eager to work on complex projects that will protect some of our most critical national assets.  

On our team, you’ll manage challenging projects for sensitive missions from beginning to end while collaborating with senior leadership. Using computer-related facilities management software and your problem-solving skills, you’ll oversee a team to develop creative solutions for mission-critical projects in National Security.    

In this role, you’ll closely impact National Security by managing and developing strategies specific to critical infrastructure. With mentoring, exposure to challenging projects, and opportunities to learn new tools and skills, we focus on growing as a team to make the best solutions for our customers.

What You’ll Work On: 

• Analyze, formulate, and recommend facility standards and design and space criteria and usage through space utilization studies and forecasts for clients in National Security. 
• Lead analyses and solution development for facility planning and management for critical infrastructure.  
• Perform complex activities as related to the control and management of cost, schedule, risk, and resource optimization.
• Prepare or review facilities estimates and site proposals for client review as to cost and feasibility. 
• Advise National Security clients in developing plans and programs responsive to present and anticipated portfolio, facility, or individual space requirements.
• Recommend planning, design, and construction standards or milestones.

You Have:   

• Experience with managing OCONUS design and construction projects
• Experience with mechanical specifications and shop drawing review
• Experience with HVAC and plumbing engineering and design
• Experience with mechanical and plumbing construction and project management
• Experience with performing quality control on licensed mechanical engineering drawings
• Experience with preparing and monitoring project schedules and budgets, providing technical guidance on contract-related issues, and recommending construction documents for approval
• Knowledge of construction quality control
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of experience with facilities project management in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:   

• Experience with MAXIMO
• Experience with new and existing building systems
• Experience with site surveys and calculations
• Knowledge of the ASHRAE standards, International Building Code, and pertinent NFPA publications related to mechanical systems
• Knowledge of the CAD systems, AutoCAD, or REVIT
• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• LEED Certification
• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• EIT Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
