SUMMARY:

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimal performance of industrial machinery and equipment.  This role involves performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions to minimize downtown and maintain production efficiency.  Additionally, this position will assist with building maintenance as needed and be available for emergencies. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment.
• Install and make necessary repairs to HVAC system.
• Recharge refrigerant in air-conditioning units. 
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
• Follow a preventative maintenance schedule to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Document, maintain, and update maintenance activities, repairs, logs, and parts.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency situations promptly to minimize production interruptions.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify the root cause of problems.
• Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Perform equipment modifications and upgrades needed.
• Assist with building maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical, and general repairs.
• Ensure the machinery is safe and well-maintained.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools and equipment are properly stored.
• Report equipment status and any significant issues to management.
