JOB SUMMARY 

This position is high visibility and will report to the BU Controller. The person that fills this role will be actively involved in building out and defining what the Finance function is to the organization. A willingness to partner with Division leaders to dig beyond the surface of the numbers is crucial in this role. This person should be actively invested in the improvement of and success of the organization. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Lead the Financial, Planning & Analysis team with the preparation and reporting of daily, weekly, and monthly results to the organization
  • Lead the budgeting/forecasting process with the FP&A team and relevant stakeholders across departments and divisions
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Lead the monitoring of KPIs and financial metrics to track the company performance against targets, highlight areas of concern, and recommend areas of corrective action
  • Lead the consolidation of reporting deliverables across segments and divisions- must be able to report large quantities of data in an efficient, scalable manner
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, propose solutions, and implement best practices in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Lead preparation of weekly and monthly financial results reporting and presentations for the SLT and Division Leaders
  • Investigate and explain operational and financial variances to prior year, budget, forecast. Works with Division Leaders to work accurate, detailed assumptions into budgets and forecasts.
  • Go beyond elevator analysis- willingness to dig into the details to understand and articulate Revenue, Margin, SG&A, and EBITDA drivers
  • Presents and speaks to financial information in a manner that can be understood by ALL stakeholders. Takes complex financial analysis and presents key points clearly and concisely to business leaders.
  • Identifies, analyzes, assesses, and communicates issues affecting profitability
  • Ability to anticipate the information needs of Senior Leadership- Always be prepared to speak to the “why” not just the “what”
  • Advanced levels of technical proficiency and computer literacy particularly with Excel. Strong Excel skills are a must. Experience in Power BI and OneStream is a plus.
  • Analyzing financial statements, reports, and data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models, including budget and forecasting models.
  • Preparing financial reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of financial plans and budgets.
  • Evaluating financial performance, identifying areas of improvement, and recommending strategies for optimization.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and prepare SOP's

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent
