Pay Rate: $ 26 - $31/hr based on experience
Hours: Monday thru Thursday 6am – 4:30pm with OT as needed
Sign On Bonus: $2,000 to be paid out as follows
- $1,000 at 90 Days
- $1,000 at 180 Days
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Inventory Controls Analyst is an hourly position that reports to the operations leader. The role is responsible for managing stock levels, evaluating data daily and preventing shortages or overstock of plant goods through physical inventory counts, data management of plant processes and looking for resolution to stock discrepancies. This role also acts as the buyer of plant goods working closely with the shipping and receiving team leader and production team leader.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop production schedule based off incoming customer orders
- Input all production work orders/material and labor in SAP.
- Create daily work orders and labels to support production forecast.
- Run daily inventory reports and act upon discrepancies.
- Review work orders and monitor inventory levels daily.
- Complete a monthly forecast.
- Monitor and order all raw material and MRO related items. (PPE, stretch wrap, etc.)
- Cycle counts: Ensure accurate inventory levels and any discrepancies at time of occurrence. Analyze and make appropriate adjustments in SAP as needed.
- Develop schedule to ensure high dollar inventory levels are accurate
- Analyze monthly spending to stay within budget.
- Complete an end of the month check list verification.
- General House Keeping
- Administrative work as assigned
- Follow all established plant safety rules and practice
- Must have strong computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, Excel
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Language Skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisor(s).
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; read.
- Attention to detail a must
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Strong decision-making skills
PHYSICAL DEMABDS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee could be upon occasion required to stand; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, controls etc.; and reach with hands and arms.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision.
- Ability to drive a forklift.
JOB REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old
- 3-6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Standing/walking for 8 – 12 hours at a time
- Exposure to noise is usually moderate
- Bending, twisting and turning
- Full use of both hands – to handle, feel objects, tools, controls, etc.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance
