This entry level Cyber Systems Security Engineering position will support multiple programs in the Training and Logistics (TLS) Line of Business (LOB).
Responsibilities include supporting the evaluation of infrastructure design in the are of cybersecurity, supporting certification and vulnerability analysis of systems.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related STEM degree from an accredited college or university.
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- Ability to travel up to 30%
- Ability to obtain DoD 8570 certification within 30 days of start
- Ability to work second shift and weekends as needed
Desired skills
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, including risk analysis and information assurance.
- Experience with troubleshooting computer hardware and networks.
- Scripting experience (e.g. Python, Bash, Perl, PowerShell)
- Experience performing vulnerability analysis
- Experience with Cybersecurity Tools (e.g. Splunk, Tenable, Trellix)
- 8570 IAT II Certification (Security+)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
