Position Overview:

 

The Illinois Commission on Equity and Inclusion (CEI) is seeking to hire an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as the intake specialist for CEI and the Business Enterprise Program. Under general direction of the Chief of Staff, this individual performs functions related to general office support and customer service. Duties will include serving as the frontline receptionist, formulating documents or memoranda, reviewing application material of BEP applicants, and translating functions/procedures for individuals who cannot read or speak English. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic self-starter excited about joining our new Commission and having the opportunity to collaborate with teammates on strategies to support minority suppliers and vendors grow their businesses.
