Telecommunications Associate - Network Infrastructure Premise Fiber Wiring

***Strong English verbal and written communication skills required to perform job duties***

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Telecommunications - Network Infrastructure Premise Fiber Wiring Associate to complete voice/data equipment installations, maintenance, modifications, and repairs. Responsible for network equipment installations, equipment upgrade replacements, UPS setup and monitoring and network closet maintenance.

Details:

• First Shift, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
• On Call Rotation Required
• Prefer applicants with Cable pulling experience within a hospital.

 Required Qualifications: Telecommunications Associate - Network Infrastructure Premise Fiber Wiring
• One year experience with large scale voice and data installations required. 
• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Graduation from a recognized vocational technical school in electronics OR an associate's degree OR equivalent experience in information technology or related field (One year of education equals one year of experience) required.

Preferred Qualifications: Telecommunications Associate - Network Infrastructure Premise Fiber Wiring
• Experience in healthcare environment preferred. 
• Associate's degree in electronics or other information technology related field preferred. 
• BICSI EIA/ITA cabling standards preferred.
