SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

We are actively seeking a highly motivated DevTest engineer who excels in dynamic, small-team settings. You will get a chance to contribute to innovative product ideas that tackle challenges within massive-scale cloud storage environments.  These new storage systems will allow our largest customers to meet the demands of AI and hyperscale workloads. 

• Develop automated test framework for software-based all-flash storage arrays
• Lead/participate in the design and development of infrastructure, tools & automation for our automated testing environments
• Build debug tools and analyze test failures across a multi-machine hardware/software stack within a continuous integration automation framework
• Measure and seek improvements in the testing pipeline.
• Modernize the code base to a Microservices and cloud friendly architecture.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

• 5+ years of hands-on test automation or infrastructure development using Golang, with ability and desire to learn new technology.
• A strong focus on developing usable, extensible and maintainable software
• Demonstrated Unix/Linux automation experience
• Agile, Test frameworks, Continuous Integration experience 
• Ability to work independently in cross-functional teams
• Algorithms & Data Structure, solid Golang and Python skills, Operating Systems, understanding of Linux environments, Cloud technologies
• Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of build-test pipeline, end-to-end quality best practices, Test Driven Development, Data Driven Engineering etc
• Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent, advanced degree preferred
• Solid communication skills
• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the {{OFFICE_LOCATION}} office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Nice to Have

• C++, Microservices, REST, Pytest, Cloud technologies
• Experience building test frameworks and tooling
• Experience in working and partnering with teams using Agile/SCRUM methodologies
• Virtualization, ESX, Windows Powershell

The annual base salary range is: $163,000 – $246,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
