The Opportunity

The Regional Director, Campaign Management – Midwest is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the execution, performance, and continuous improvement of digital advertising campaigns across the Midwest region. This individual will manage a regional team of campaign managers, drive operational excellence, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure campaign success and client satisfaction.

This role requires a hands-on, performance-oriented leader who enjoys solving complex problems, optimizing processes, and guiding a team in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of programmatic media and campaign operations, along with experience managing teams in a regional capacity.

The Daily To-Do

  • Regional Strategy & Team Leadership
      • Set and execute a strategic vision for campaign management in the Midwest region, in alignment with the wider national team, company goals and revenue targets.
      • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of regional campaign managers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
      • Support the professional growth of team members through feedback, training, and development opportunities.
      • Ensure consistency and quality in campaign execution, leveraging regional insights to improve performance and efficiency.
    Campaign Operations & Performance
      • Oversee the planning, setup, delivery, and pacing of digital advertising campaigns to ensure revenue goals and performance KPIs are met.
      • Monitor regional campaign metrics and proactively address issues related to delivery, tracking, or optimization.
      • Implement operational best practices to enhance team productivity and campaign quality.
      • Serve as a point of escalation for complex campaign issues, working in partnership with internal teams and platform vendors.
    Cross-Functional Collaboration
      • Partner with Sales, Ad Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to align campaign execution with broader business goals.
      • Provide insights and feedback from the regional team to inform product development and workflow enhancements.
      • Collaborate with peers in other regions to share knowledge and standardize effective practices.
    Process Improvement & Technology
      • Identify opportunities for process automation, efficiency gains, and improved campaign workflows at the regional level.
      • Stay informed on the latest tools and technologies in digital advertising and make recommendations for adoption where appropriate.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in digital advertising or campaign management, including at least 2 years in a people management role
  • Strong understanding of programmatic advertising platforms, ad-serving technologies, and media operations
  • Proven ability to lead a team and manage complex workflows in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Google Ad Manager 360, Campaign Manager, third-party ad servers, and performance tracking tools
  • Proficiency in Excel, G-Suite, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in Connected TV and campaign automation is a plus
