Overview

As an Accounting Support Associate, you are an individual who can coordinate project implementation and support activities, help our clients with crucial set-up decisions, troubleshoot financial out of balances, continually strive towards and achieve process improvement and bring Vantaca's relationship with the client to the next level. You do not shy away from problems, but rather solves them through innovation, consultative education, leadership, and product expertise.  

 Responsibilities 

• Assist the Vantaca team to evaluate the needs of our client base
• Aid accounting and data teams in managing customer support tickets
• Assist the Accounting team in their consultative approach to create workflow processes that meet the client’s unique needs
• Identify and troubleshoot financial matters and work with the client to resolve
• Participate and lead in client training 
• Test and troubleshoot financial configurations within the Vantaca platform 
• Assist the Accounting team in planning and completing special projects
• Learn how to identify trends in support requests and identify bugs in the software
• Perform troubleshooting tasks to identify errors and escalate accordingly

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting, information systems, operations management, business analytics or finance
• Phenomenal communication skills and are an innovative problem-solver
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting
• Knowledgeable regarding supporting a software solution
• Experienced with CRM systems, accounting software, workflow platforms, and mobile apps
• Proven ability to interact and communicate in a professional, positive, and constructive way; comfortable with public speaking and leading a meeting
• Highly organized and really good at prioritizing your workload

Desired

• 2+ years of Accounting experience
