JOB OVERVIEW: We are seeking a skilled Contract Commercial Litigation Attorney to work various complex litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex commercial disputes, excellent advocacy skills, and a results-driven mindset. This role offers an opportunity to work on high-stakes litigation matters in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Your role will involve advising clients on risk management, navigating regulatory frameworks, and delivering strategic legal solutions to achieve client objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all phases of commercial litigation, including pre-trial, trial, and appellate proceedings.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Develop case strategies and advise clients on litigation risks and opportunities.
• Take and defend depositions, appear in court for hearings and trials, and negotiate settlements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure effective case management.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations affecting commercial litigation.

 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar membership.
• 3+ years of litigation experience.
• Proven ability to manage complex litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to collaborative case strategies.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent courtroom advocacy and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
• Strong client service orientation and business acumen.
• Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
