About This Role
As our Senior Lead, Property Management on the Resident Operations team, you will be directly responsible for overseeing multiple property management functions of Divvy’s portfolio. This role will be crucial in building processes, procedures, and policies related to property taxes, utilities, HOA management, and municipal compliance. This person’s success will be measured by their ability to ensure compliance with assessment dues and violations, drive the adoption of new processes or tooling, and create SOPs/KPIs to define success. This team member will be expected to execute daily tasks requirements and performance manage a team of offshore support staff, while simultaneously building out a scalable structure for managing our portfolio of homes.
We have a documented equal pay policy and do not negotiate on offers. To maintain fairness and keep starting total comp the same for anyone who comes into that position, individual pay is determined by role, level, and work location only. At the offer stage, we give candidates 3 different offers to choose from depending on how they want to favor cash vs equity. The US-based salary range for this position is $118,250 to $150,000 + equity + benefits. Please note: We have two different compensation tiers depending on your location. The range displayed reflects the Tier 2 minimum and Tier 1 maximum new hire salary across all US locations. Your Recruiter will discuss the relevant compensation range during your initial screen.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the department’s progress and compliance with rental registrations, lease renewals, utility activation/deactivation, property taxes, and HOA assessment dues/violations
- Performance manage a team of 10+ property management support staff
- Creating processes, procedures, and policies that reduce lien risks
- Iterate on property management policies that are synergistic yet encourage austerity, maximize revenue, and ensure equality of application
- Coordinate cross-functionally across the organization to create policies, procedures, SOPs and systemize processes
- Identify any inefficiencies and optimize technology including working with Product and Engineering to increase productivity
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of property management, product management, BizOps, or similar experience
- Experience with managing people, projects, and assets
- A strong operational leader with a high aptitude for both analytics and EQ
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Experienced at building strong working relationships
- Ability to create a vision and translate it into detailed and prioritized plans
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
- Basic SQL and BI skills preferred
