Job Summary:The Arizona Department of Corrections, Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking a qualified professional to assume the role of Program Project Specialist II. This position manages the statistical, administrative, financial, and operational functions of the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) to support bureau and agency goals.
Job Duties:- Tracks, monitors, and documents statistical data for OIG
- Researches and secures information using various methods
- Prepares and distributes reports to support bureau operations and goals
- Records and monitors bureau financial activity
- Tracks purchasing expenditures
- Assists with Human Resources functions, including FMLA, position control, personnel actions and maintaining organizational charts
- Tracks staffing data and ensures compliance with agency standards
- Researches and gathers information to support the OIG
- Collaborates with department entities
- Tracks and documents statistical data
- Compiles reports
- Maintains confidential records
- Manages and coordinates travel arrangements for OIG staff
- Conducts equipment inventories
- Tracks losses, damages, and salvages and ensures accurate documentation
- Monitors and tracks required training for OIG staff including ADCRR and AZPOST certifications
- Ensures compliance with all standards
- Drives on state business
- Other duties assigned as related to the position
Knowledge of:
- OIG operations including tracking, monitoring, and documenting statistical data
- Administrative functions and policies related to personnel management
- Financial activities and record-keeping
- ADCRR policies and training requirements, including Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training (AZPOST) and Arizona Purchasing Portal and financial tracking system, such as AFIS
- Federal and State laws, statues and regulations relevant to the area of assignment
- ADCRR policies as well as principles and practices of administration and management affecting the area of assignment
- Business correspondence, report writing and technical procedure composition
- Computer operation and proficiency in software programs
- Research methodologies and techniques

- Researching and compiling information from diverse sources
- Organizing, monitoring and tracking statistical data efficiently
- Preparing detailed reports and business correspondence
- Managing confidential information and documentation in adherence to organizational policies
- Conducting equipment inventories and reporting on equipment status
