Job Description 

POSITION: Junior Seminar Teacher 

REPORTS TO: Principal 

POSITION TYPE: 10-month 

START DATE: 26-27 School Year 

COMPENSATION: Starting at $64,000 annually

Junior Seminar Certification Policy 
Any Junior Seminar teacher accountable to the 26-27 certification policy must enroll in Teaching Excellence as their certification pathway. From past experiences, Alternative Certification Programs do not recognize Junior Seminar as a course eligible for an internship year. Teachers already in external Alternative Certification Programs upon hire must transfer to Teaching Excellence in order to ensure that their course placement is eligible for certification. Please note that this may result in unexpected costs, and there is no guarantee that requirements from previous ACP can transfer to Teaching Excellence.
