The Marketing Automation Specialist plays a critical role in driving scalable revenue growth by enabling automation, AI-powered workflows, and operational efficiency across marketing, commerce, and monetization initiatives. This role is focused on improving how revenue-generating work gets done—faster, smarter, and with less manual effort.

With a strong emphasis on AI adoption, workflow automation, and revenue enablement, this role partners closely with Marketing, Revenue, Commerce, Audience, and Engagement teams to optimize systems, streamline execution, and support high-impact campaigns. The Specialist proactively identifies inefficiencies, implements scalable solutions, and helps ensure campaigns move from intake to launch with speed, accuracy, and consistency.

Serving as an operational extension and backup to theRevenue Operations Manager, the Specialist supports day-to-day execution across platforms, tools, and workflows while continuously improving processes that drive revenue performance. The ideal candidate is a systems-savvy operator with a strong revenue mindset who thrives at the intersection of AI, automation, and execution.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is between $65,000 and $75,000 annually. Individual base pay may vary within that range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, relevant education, department equity, training, geography, and local wage and hours laws.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Automation, Systems & Scaling

  • Support operational automation initiatives within ClickUp and related platforms to reduce manual effort and improve speed to launch
  • Assist with oversight and coordination of platform integrations across Marketing, Revenue, Commerce, Audience, and Engagement teams
  • Partner with Commerce and L&E teams to support workflow improvements and system enhancements
  • Identify inefficiencies in campaign execution and operational workflows and recommend scalable solutions

Revenue, Commerce & Campaign Support

  • Support setup, execution, and QA of revenue-driven campaigns across paid media platforms (e.g., Meta, Taboola, StackAdapt)
  • Coordinate commerce and sponsorship initiatives, including timelines, asset readiness, and execution requirements
  • Partner with Revenue, Sales, and CRM stakeholders to support smooth campaign launches and execution

Marketing Operations & Project Execution

  • Support the Revenue Operations Manager by managing operational execution across active projects and campaigns
  • Own task and subtask creation, maintenance, and workflow hygiene within ClickUp, ensuring visibility, accountability, and timely delivery
  • Independently manage lower-complexity initiatives and recurring operational workflows
  • Provide coverage and continuity for core project operations when the Revenue Operations Manager is unavailable
  • campaign tracking, performance reporting, and post-launch optimization support

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

  • Demonstrated experience working in project management platforms (ClickUp strongly preferred)
  • Experience supporting revenue-generating marketing initiatives, paid media, commerce programs, or sponsorships
  • Strong understanding of operational workflows in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Experience in media, publishing, advertising, or commerce-driven organizations
  • Exposure to marketing automation, system integrations, or operational tooling
  • Comfort working across multiple teams with competing priorities
  • Strong interest in process optimization and operational scalability
  • Track record for innovation, learning and using new skills and technology, especially AI.
  • Ability to prioritize and to work under and meet short- and long-deadlines in a fast-paced, data-driven work environment and to accurately fact-check information
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and team-player skills.  Excellent communication and active listening skills.  
  • Ability to work well, be professional and courteous with a variety of staff at all levels
  • Computer proficiency (Google Workspace, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and creative production processes)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include nights and weekends 
  • Must be able to work remotely while contributing to a team environment
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
