The Community Liaison is responsible for the organization’s direct marketing and branding including establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer and referral source’s requests and concerns, and coordinating and participating in community/referral education and branding events.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Enacts all daily marketing operations including connecting with key referral sources directly and on a regular cadence.
- Participates with the Director of Business Development to support facility contracts for patient care.
- Assists the Director of Business Development in establishing organization volume projections in the annual budget and in establishing allocations for the marketing department.
- Supports the Director of Business Development in conducting market assessments and participates in marketing plan development based on competitive landscape.
- Works with the clinical leadership to establish marketing techniques for specialty programs.
- Employs marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve volume projections.
- Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential referral sources.
- Builds and monitors community, customer, and patient perceptions of Elite as a high-quality provider of services.
- Provides insight on potential opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs.
- Maintains working knowledge of Elite’s markets including government agencies, major payor groups, key referral sources, and competitor’s market positioning.
- Maintains comprehensive working knowledge in the field of relational sales and marketing to support organizational goals.
- Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of community resources for services not provided by Elite.
- Monitors and reports cost effectiveness of marketing efforts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred, but not required.
- At least a year of experience in health care sales/marketing, preferably in rehabilitative operations.
- Ability to market and deal tactfully with healthcare affiliates in the community.
- Demonstrates good communications skills, negotiation skills, and public relations skills.
- Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
Salary: $65,000-$75,000 annually
