Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000

Position Summary
- Veritas Veterinary Partners seeks a highly organized and people-centered Hospital Manager to support the operational leadership of GSVS Morristown. The Hospital Manager serves as an operational resource to the Regional Operations Director, ensuring daily functions run smoothly across departments while supporting team development, compliance and client experience goals. This role is a key connector between frontline teams and senior leadership, translating strategy into day-to-day execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Daily Operations
- Oversee and coordinate daily operational workflow across departments including client experience, patient care and support services.
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact when the Regional Operations Director is unavailable, making sound decisions to maintain continuity.
- Monitor staffing levels and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks, escalating to the Regional Operations Director when appropriate.
- Maintain operational logs, compliance checklists and required documentation to support regulatory and accreditation standards.
Team Leadership and Development
- Support the recruitment, onboarding and orientation of new team members in coordination with the Regional Operations Director and People and Culture Operations.
- Provide day-to-day coaching and performance feedback to direct reports, fostering accountability and professional growth.
- Partner with supervisors to address performance concerns, scheduling conflicts and team dynamics.
- Champion team recognition and engagement initiatives that reinforce Veritas values and improve associate satisfaction.
- Assist in conducting performance reviews and documenting associate relations matters according to policy.
Client Experience
- Support a culture of exceptional client service by modeling professional, compassionate communication and resolving escalated concerns.
- Monitor client satisfaction data and address patterns and implement improvements.
- Ensure client-facing processes and communication standards are consistently upheld across all points of interaction.
Financial and Compliance Support
- Assist the Regional Operations Director with budget monitoring, expense tracking and variance analysis.
- Support compliance with DEA, OSHA, state veterinary licensing and internal policy requirements.
- Assist with facilities oversight, vendor coordination and capital project tracking as directed.
- Participate in monthly financial reviews and contribute operational insights to support performance improvement.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional management experience.
