MGH-Skirt Insert Press Operator

The Skirt Insertion Press Operator will serve our Water Heating Division, located in Montgomery, AL.

• Will be required to ensure proper operation of a machine that presses the skirt onto the tank.
• Will be required to operate/monitor a PLC.
• Will be required to use a PLC to input material requirements information.
• Will be required to manually unload skirts from conveyor and load into press.
• Will be required to orient tanks before attaching skirt.
• Will be required to perform other assembly tasks as needed.
• Will be required to perform change over and make minor adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Will be required to make minor repairs and assist maintenance with major repairs to equipment.
• Will be required to perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Will be required to maintain quality standards established for the process.
• Must be able to work from written or verbal instructions.
• Must maintain good housekeeping in work area.
• Must observe all departmental safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED.
