To learn more about Pearce visit <a href="http://www.pearce-services.com">http://www.pearce-services.com</a>.</p></div><p><strong>Your Impact</strong></p> <p>The Enty Level MCE Wind Technician in the Main Component Exchange (MCE) division will support field work and on-site work focusing on Safety, Quality, and Efficiency. They will also perform up-tower repairs and diagnostics on medium & major components including Generator Bearings, Generator Slip Rings, Rotor & Stator Cables, Gearbox HSS replacement, HSS bearings, IMS replacement, IMS bearings, Yaw Drive Repair/Exchange, Generator Exchanges & Trunnion Pin Repairs. <strong>The position is 100% travel.</strong></p> <p><strong>Core Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support lifting operations of equipment at heights over 250’.</li> <li>May be required to oversee lifting operations following skills verification of large components and ability to create, review, correct, and amend lifting plans.</li> <li>Conduct safe and efficient repairs to all Wind Turbine electrical systems.</li> <li>Operate under properly performed Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) conditions and possibly as an Authorized Person.</li> <li>Conduct pre-task planning, Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs), and Risk Assessments (RAs), and daily safety discussions.</li> <li>Interact with vendors and customers in a professional manner.</li> <li>Properly document all work in a variety of electronic formats and provide feedback to the Safety and Quality department for business improvements.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.</strong></p> <p><strong>Core Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 1 year of direct product experience on one or more platforms.</li> <li>Direct turbine specific experience is required.</
