Seasonal Cashier

At Murrieta Hot Spring Resort, we are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented cashier to join our resort's Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, handle transactions efficiently, and ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for our guests

Qualifications

Core Responsibilities: 

• Greet Guests warmly and take orders accurately.
• Operate registers, process payments, and issue receipts.
• Maintain knowledge of Menu items and promotions.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the cashier station.
• Handle transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist with packaging and serving food items as needed.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

• Strong communication skills verbal and written
• High work ethic and self-initiative
• Regular attendance according to established guidelines
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property
• Focus and maintain attention to multiple tasks in a short time period, and complete work assignments within deadline demands, despite frequent interruptions
• Ability to maintain excellent relationships with staff and maintain staff and guest confidentiality at all times

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Lift approximately ten (10) pounds
• Grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, pulling, pushing, listening and hearing ability and visual ability
• Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment such as computers, ten-key calculator, printers, multi-line tone phone, filing cabinets, photocopiers and other office equipment as needed.

This is a Part-Time SEASONAL position with possibility of extension (May 2025-October2025)

Hourly: $16.50
