Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager serves as a senior advisor and strategic partner to the Dean and the Office of the Dean, providing visionary leadership in the design, execution, and oversight of enterprise-level Information Technology initiatives that advance the School of Medicine’s mission and long-term strategic objectives. This role demands a high degree of sophistication in IT project governance, cross-functional leadership, and institutional transformation. By bridging technology and finance, this role ensures that the School of Medicine is equipped with the tools, insights, and systems necessary to support innovation, data-driven decision-making, and long-term fiscal health.

This position is responsible for driving modernization efforts across Information Technology infrastructure and financial operations, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities, regulatory frameworks, and operational excellence. These may include responsibility with our new Anaplan Center of Excellence, multi-year forecasting, and performance-based budgeting.

o   Direct the development of secure, scalable data infrastructure—including centralized databases and repositories—to enable clinical benchmarking, funds flow reconciliation, and strategic opportunity analysis.

o   Lead cross-functional teams in the automation of data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting frameworks that deliver real-time insights into FTE allocations, funding sources, and productivity across distributed computing environments.

o   Manage the execution of multi-phase FTE projects, integrating systems development lifecycles and performance monitoring frameworks to ensure operational excellence and long-term sustainability.

o   Drive institutional coordination across internal departments and external partners to standardize FTE definitions and funding mechanisms, leveraging data governance and systems integration best practices to support strategic decision-making.
