Description:

EVS Specialist, Main OR, Extra Staffing EOC-0

Reporting to the Supervisor Environmental Services*, Environmental Services, this position is responsible for maintaining a high level of cleanliness in all Surgical areas, Critical Care Units, and Labor and Delivery, preventing cross contamination, minimizing air borne bacteria and ensuring an aseptic environment.

Pay Range: $22.59 - $30.51

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

2. Ability to communicate and follow written instruction in a fast-paced, team environment is required.

3. Knowledge of the use of wet/dry vacuum and mixture of cleaning solutions is required. Knowledge of the use of floor machines for tile floor scrubbing is preferred.

4. Previous experience in housekeeping in an acute care environment is preferred.
