As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work with cutting-edge technologies like Vue.js and React, collaborate with teams in both the U.S. and China, and contribute to impactful projects. About the Team

The Web Engineering team develops key frontend solutions, focusing on user account management, meeting/webinar features, and dashboards. You'll collaborate closely with the China team and other departments to deliver seamless user experiences and impactful solutions.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing user interfaces for enterprise applications using Vue.js, React.js, or other frameworks.

• Optimizing frontend performance and improving code based on internal processes.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to finalize system architecture and integrate APIs.

• Creating unique technical UI designs, including wireframes and mockups.

• Implementing UI/UX strategies based on business requirements.

• Automating UI testing using specialized tools.

• Implementing accessibility features and maintaining UI coding standards.

• Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of continuous learning.

What we’re looking for

• Possess a Bachelor's in Computer Science or a related field.

• Possess 5+ years of experience in frontend development using frameworks like Vue.js or React.js.

• Possess solid experience with JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Have experience in UI test automation and A/B testing.

• Monitor and optimize frontend application performance.

• Implement accessibility features and apply accessible design principles.

• Work on large technical projects in collaborative environments.

• Demonstrate fluency in both English and Mandarin or Cantonese (ideal) for effective collaboration with international teams.

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$98,900.00

Maximum:

$228,700.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure;  there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
