The RN demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the assigned unit and the organization. They remain flexible to changing systems - are expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practices, and treat staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect. </span></p><ul><li>18 Bed Unit </li><li><span>12 Hour Shifts</span></li><li><span>24/7 Crisis Triage Facility </span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><span><strong>How you’ll contribute </strong></span></p><p><span>Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice for behavioral health patients. Collaborates with the interprofessional team to support a safe, therapeutic environment and high-quality outcomes. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.</span></p><p><span>Essential Functions</span></p><ul><li><span>Performs plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.</span></li><li><span>Documents patient care provided in a timely and accurate manner.</span></li><li><span>Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.</span></li><li><span>Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).</span></li><li><span>Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care (transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs).</span></li><li><span>Assesses learning needs and delivers age-/culture-appropriate patient and family education.</span></li><li><span>Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.</span></li><li><span>Participates in unit and organizational performance improvement and required continuing education.</span></li><li><span>Provides quality patient care and works other shifts/units as needed; may be assigned on-call.</span></li><li><span>Performs other duties as assigned.</span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><span><strong>Why join us</strong></span></p><p><span>Fundamental to providing great care is supporting and rewarding our team. Additional requirements include:</span></p><ul><li><span>BLS</span></li><li><span>1 year of behavioral health RN experience preferred</span></li><li><span>Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred</span></li><li><span>Critical thinking and decisive judgment skills; able to work with minimal supervision in stressful environments. </span></li><li><span>Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple clinical software systems.</span></li></ul><p><span> </span></p><p><span><strong>About our Health System</strong></span><br/><span>Lourdes Medical Center is a 35-bed hospital located in Pasco, WA, and Lourdes Behavioral H
