The dietitian plans, directs and provides nutritional care to patients and conducts nutrition assessments.  Dietitian offers education to patient and family members, in-service and training to food service and other departments as needed.

We are hiring for a Dietitian position in the Nutritional Counseling department at St Elias Specialty Hospital in Anchorage, AK!

Position is full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, foods and nutrition.
  • Alaska Dietitian License within 6 months (180 days) of hire. Or
  • Alaska Nutritionist License within 6 months (180 days) of hire. 
  • National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Dietetics or nutrition science.
  • 2 years of Hospital inpatient experience.
  • Experience working with adult/geriatric population.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
