This team plays a pivotal role in driving adoption of RDK as the global software platform of choice for embedded Broadband, Entertainment and Home Security devices.We have an exciting role for a Principal Technical Program Manager on Comcast’s RDK Operations Engineering, QA Organization within the Global Device Software Organization based out of Philadelphia Office. Our team defines strategy, drives engineering and operational excellence, and ensures our broadband and Sky Hub products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and readiness before launch. You will work with multiple teams responsible for ensuring that every product meets our highest standards of performance, reliability, compliance, and customer experience before launch
Job Description

As a Technical Program Manager, you will be key in shaping and driving the team’s roadmap. You will lead strategic planning initiatives, manage complex programs, and ensure seamless execution of high-quality, reliable, and sustainable solutions. This role requires a proactive and collaborative leader who excels in managing cross-functional teams and driving technical programs to deliver impactful results at a global scale.

Core Responsibilities
- Understands the scope of technical programs as defined by the product and business requirements
- Drive user stories and defects via agile monthly sprint process
- Manage and prioritize the team’s backlog, own scrum meetings, Dev/QA assignments
- Manages the Crews and owns of epics / modules, assists with the release plan and roadmap
- Drive the development and execution of the roadmap for the team, aligning with global product strategies and business goals.
- Oversee planning and execution of key initiatives and programs, ensuring alignment across distributed teams in the USA, Europe, and India.
- Drive technical decision-making and problem-solving, ensuring high standards of quality, security, and content protection across all products and platforms.
- Foster collaboration and communication across cross-functional teams, delivering on milestones and ensuring successful delivery of programs on time and within scope.
- Proactively identify risks and dependencies, develop mitigation strategies, and advance issues to leadership as vital. Proactively address issues and escalate as needed to ensure timely resolution
- Serve as a key point of contact for senior leadership, providing regular updates on progress, risks, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
- BS/ MS degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8-10 years experience in technical program management, or a combination of TPM and engineering experience
- Additionally, professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) may be preferred
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand and guide complex technical initiatives.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology ideally in a fast-paced DevOps environment
- Mastery in Tools like Jira, Confluence and Smartsheet
- Experience managing cross-functional, geographically distributed teams and working in global, fast-paced environm
