Humana's Corporate Strategy team is looking for high-potential future leaders looking to drive disruption in the health care industry.

               

Our team is a small, high-performing group that works closely with Humana's senior leadership to chart the course for the company's future. In Strategy, you will identify and analyze new growth opportunities and work with business leaders to prioritize strategic investments and execute transformation. The Strategy team has weekly meetings with Humana’s CEO and management team and frequently presents updates to the Board of Directors. Daily activities of the Consultant role will include industry analysis, high level financial modeling, qualitative analysis, and synthesis of options. During projects the Consultant can expect to work across Humana’s business segments and prepare executive-level communications for multiple leaders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support problem-solving efforts by helping senior leaders define key issues, develop hypotheses and create recommendations.
• Develop insights to equip senior leaders with the right data to make informed strategic decisions.
• Support cross-functional projects, working with leaders throughout the company to execute complex, high-priority strategic initiatives.
• Convert strategy into roadmaps, business cases and projects while prioritizing timelines and ensuring alignment and execution.
• Identify the short & long-term impacts of key strategies by assessing qualitative and quantitative data.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2-3 years of consulting, corporate strategy, or business experience
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills
• Familiarity with strategic frameworks and strategy development
• Ability to identify, structure, and solve business problems
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
• Commitment to accelerated professional and personal growth

Preferred Qualifications:

• Passion for Humana’s focus on value-based healthcare for seniors
• Experience in the healthcare industry
• Demonstrated commitment to personal growth

Location:

Opportunities are located at Humana’s headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky or at sister office located in Washington, DC at 1812 N. Moore in Arlington, VA. Additional Opportunities: will consider candidates who reside in Chicago, IL and Nashville, TN.
