Senior Director, Premium Sales - Olympic & Paralympic Games

Position Summary
The Senior Director of Premium Sales will serve as a key people leader, responsible for managing and developing the U.S.-based sales team across two major Olympic and Paralympic Games cycles: closing out the premium sales program for Milan 2026 and launching the go-to-market strategy for LA28.
This role is less about individual selling and more about building and managing a high-performing team that delivers results through structure, coaching, collaboration, and strategic focus. The ideal candidate brings exceptional people management experience, a deep understanding of the premium sales landscape, and the ability to navigate the complexity of a global, multi-year project.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and develop the U.S. premium sales team, driving a high-performance culture rooted in collaboration, accountability, and customer focus.
Establish clear goals, performance benchmarks, and development plans for each team member.
Foster team alignment across the dual focus of finalizing Milan 2026 and launching LA28.
Program Management Across Cycles
Oversee the final stretch of Milan 2026 premium inventory sales, ensuring fulfillment, client satisfaction, and strong closeout processes.
Lead the U.S. premium sales transition into LA28, including the rollout of team structure, sales readiness, client strategy, and product positioning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with international sales leaders, agency partners (e.g., On Location), marketing, product, and operations teams to align on priorities and execution plans.
Act as a key point of coordination between the U.S. sales effort and global planning.
Strategic Planning & Execution
Contribute to the long-term premium sales strategy for LA28, helping to shape pricing, segmentation, packaging, and customer journey design.
Provide market insights and team feedback to help shape product offerings and go-to-market timing.
Client Engagement & Representation
Serve as a senior face of the LA28 premium program to top-tier clients, corporate partners, and stakeholders, supporting the team in key presentations and events.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in premium or hospitality sales, sponsorship, or live event management, with at least 5 years in a team leadership role.
Proven success managing, motivating, and developing a high-performing sales team.
Experience operating within complex, matrixed organizations and multi-year project timelines.
Strategic mindset with strong planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Background in global sporting events, major hospitality programs, or large-scale premium entertainment preferred.
Ability to lead through change, ambiguity, and multiple project cycles.
